I usually enjoy Chipotle Mexican Grill, but I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience at the Lemmon Ave location—specifically when one particular employee (an older woman with black hair) is working the line. To be honest, I almost dread going in when she’s there because the protein portions—especially the chicken—are noticeably smaller compared to other employees. I’ve found myself multiple times having to ask for a third scoop just to get a normal portion, which shouldn’t be necessary. And it’s not just me. Today, the customer in front of me even said something about how small his portion was, and I completely agreed. It’s a pattern, not a one-off situation. What really stood out was that instead of dealing with the back-and-forth, I ordered a side cup of chicken—and the portion in the cup was significantly more generous than what was being served on the bowl. That inconsistency is frustrating. At this price point (nearly $20 for a bowl and a drink), customers should be getting fair, consistent portions. Right now, it feels like the rice outweighs the protein way too often at this location. This seems like either a training issue or a tool issue (maybe the serving spoon size), but either way, it needs to be addressed. Consistency is key, and this location is falling short.
