Extremely disappointing. Family of 4 for dinner. All the chips are old and like cardboard. It was dead quiet, late afternoon. The food should be fresh. Not what drying out in the warmer. Worst chips we’ve had. They be reheated and are borderline grey. Sadly we are locals, can’t go back as we are on the road now. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

Terrific chips ,particularly the cheesy ones with fritters recommended. Fish well battered. The staff are alway lively and efficient as well with their trademark Peaky Blinders caps without the violence

Excellent, excellent food. The head staff was very polite, happy & a wonderful atmosphere in the shop. Made you feel very welcome. It does get busy but you are not waiting long at all. Best chippy I have had in a very long time. It was delightful. Tip of the hat to The Chipperies for sure.
