Una de las atracciones turísticas locales, Dearborn Station, está muy cerca de esta barbacoa, y forma parte de la cultura más auténtica de la ciudad. Visita Chop y haz un intermedio para probar su atrayente filete, sus perfectamente elaboradas gambas o sus magníficas hamburguesas completas. Te propondrán unos caseros gofres. No vas a poder olvidar la espectacular cerveza de grifo, el excelente bourbon y el sensacional licor que se pueden paladear aquí. Su sorprendente café es el rasgo distintivo de este lugar.
La buenísima ubicación de este lugar hace que llegar a él incluso en hora punta sea muy sencillo. Se comenta que aquí el personal es de confianza. La mayoría de visitantes apuntan que el servicio es cuestionable. Según el criterio de los clientes, sus precios son adecuados. La mayor parte del tiempo podrás encontrar aquí una confortable atmósfera. Pero la nota de Yelp para esta barbacoa no es alta, como puede verse por los comentarios recibidos.

I wouldn't know how Chop was, they went out of business months ago, yet Open Table still took my reservation. It was quite a surprise

Made open table reservation for brunch at 10:00am for 4. Took a $11.01 uber to restaurant. Arrived 9:45. Doors were locked but brunch menu was posted we we assumed doors opened at 10. Hostess walked past us into restaurant. Came out 15 minutes later and said "are you waiting to eat?" We replied that we had a 10am open table reservation at which point she rolled her eyes so hard it had to have pulled an eye muscle. She yelled something to the kitchen and came back and threw some menus at us and said I guess we can make something work. We politely said no thank you and left. Cost $11.01 for uber. And still no food

We came for the 50 cent wings and $2 beers. We had smoked wings with no sauce because they brought 4 different types of BBQ sauce to choose from, and we also got the Buffalo wings. The smoked wings were the winner. We like our wings cooked HARD--these were done completely, but we like a hard skin, so we took them home to finish them off with a little broiler action. We drank PBR for our $2 beer (Bud was the other choice)...kind of fun to go back in time with a pint in hand. We sat on the patio and it was quiet. Since we live in River City, it is only a 10 minute walk. Many specials ---check it out. The sign says Pork Chop, but it is listed as Chop on Open Table, it seems to me that was the original name when the restaurant opened, it was more steak centered then, so it is hard to find on the Open Table list.
