After all this, we decided it was time to just suck it up and cut the sandwich ourselves, leading to the predictable end result of the majority of the filling falling out and us having to eat a sandwich with a fork and knife. Beyond the poor customer service, the underlying issues for both the naanini and the wrap were that the food just didn't taste very good (paneer was way too sweet and lacked spice, cholle was very plain) and that there was so much gravy relative to how much solid food was present If this food had any hope of being successful, it needed to be much drier and not just a glob of gravy. if anyone has had a kaathi roll in NYC, that is the consistency of filling required for a dish like this - dry, heavily spiced chunks of food that are easy to eat in wrap form because everything doesn't come spilling out with each bite (in addition to actually tasting good). But, seeing as Chutneys apparently refuses to do things they have never done before, I'm sure they will continue to serve sloppy, poorly seasoned food while being dismissive to their customers. I will certainly not be eating here again
