Was told to wait outside in the heat by an employee-only door for someone to see me and take my to go order. Then I had to ask for a menu when they came. Who actually operates like this? Is this a restaurant or a chore? Price per person: $10–20

We're so sorry for the frustrating experience you had while trying to place your takeout order. We'd love to have the chance to connect with you about this if you're open to it. Just email Guest Relations at hey@chuys.com with your name and the Chuy's location you visited.

Bastrops newest option for Tex Mex!! Chuy's is a long time Austin fav come to town and we love it! Prices are decent, food is great, service has been needing work. We have ordered takeout 3 times now and all 3 times, the time we were told to pick up was off by 30-45 minutes and our orders were incorrect EVERY time. Bummer but we hope it's being fixed. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
