Good location for an afternoon tea. We enjoyed the food - very tasty and decent portions! The only downside was the service. Our waiter seemed confused and delivered the wrong number of veggie portions. It was corrected switfly but given it wasn’t busy I would have expected it to be more attentive.. Meal type: Other Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Cinnamon Kitchen City Liverpool Street Lovely to catch up with our dearest friend and our kids’ God Mother, Auntie Winnie such a great time together and so special to see her. We came across this incredible Indian restaurant tucked away in an old factory courtyard just behind Liverpool Street. A true hidden gem in Devonshire Square, surrounded by a beautiful collection of restaurants and bars. The atmosphere was brilliant and the courtyard is concealed by a stunning glass roof, making it feel cosy, warm and really unique. Cinnamon Kitchen City Liverpool Street 9 Devonshire Square. London EC2M 4YL Cinnamon Kitchen offers modern Indian cuisine by Vivek Singh, celebrating seasonal British ingredients paired with regional Indian spices. The menu is thoughtfully designed with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, so there really is something for everyone. Vivek Singh is an Indian born British chef and restaurateur, and the Executive Chef and CEO of the Cinnamon Collection, a group of modern Indian restaurants across the UK. He is also a regular guest on BBC food programmes, including Saturday Kitchen, which speaks volumes about his reputation and talent. Signature dishes include the Smoked Kentish Saddle of Lamb and the Grilled Pink Aubergine, both absolutely outstanding. The food was bold, refined and beautifully presented, and it is no surprise the restaurant has won multiple awards including recognition from the AA.
