I visited Cirillos on Friday night before Easter. There were plenty of tables. Lots of families were having a night out, and they all seemed to know each other since Fitzgerald is a small town. But everyone gets my with a friendly smile and a hello. I ordered my capstone from the nicest young lady who commented on my Irish call. She told me she's going to study abroad this summer in Ireland and was asking how it was, since I visited in 2018. After a few minutes I was brought my food and ate the lightest capstone I've ever had. The dough was not fried, and the contents were just perfect. Near the end of my meal the owner, Astrid, came over to talk about Ireland and to tell me that her daughter was excited to talk to someone who had been there. After another 30 minutes of talking to Astrid I felt like I was part of the family. Her husband opened the restaurant to honor his mother, and both their kids and their friends all work there. Truly a family run restaurant! If you're in, or just driving through Fitzgerald, you have to stop and see Astrid and her family at Cirillos. It's well worth the visit. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
