My recent visit to civil works was very good. We arrived during last call and they were very accommodating. I loved the vibe and atmosphere. The loft feel with the lights was incredible. The service was very good and cocktails did not disappoint. It is pretty pricey but it’s to be expected at a high end cocktail club in the city. Will definitely return! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great drinks and a great experience. We got to sit ‘behind’ the bar with the bar tenders—best spot in the house. Leo made us great drinks and was really fun to talk with. We had a blast and highly recommend this place. Try the jello shot margaritas! Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Clearly a happening slightly obscured bar nestled above the waterworks market. Popped in to grab a couple of seats on the long communal bar. Service was slow but largely because the doctors having a dual bachelor/bachelorette across the way were consuming tons of cocktails and making life hard for the trio of bartenders. The cocktail concept is really cool in any case and the menu is a wonderful idea. We tried he looming danger and rag trade. The danger was a tad too heavy on liqeuer and seemed to overpower the interesting fig and mushroom inclusions to me. The trade being a better choice, a citrus affair. The warp thread and playdate offered a quality set of second drinks, bringing us back into the fold. Warp thread being a sweet easy drinking fruit/cream concept and the playdate a fizz of coffee variety. Hard to notice the carrot but that was based off a single sip, best to try it yourself. Price per person: $50–60
