I have Celiac disease/gluten allergy and am very very careful when eating out and tend to ask about gluten in restaurants food many times before eating while usually getting triple reassurance before taking my first bite. I had called ahead before ordering food and was told in a very rude and annoyed tone that there was no flour in the food and that they only use it in the pita bread. So I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl and specifically asked if the rice was gluten free and again got a rude and annoyed tone when the man said there was no flour in it. I also checked a third time about the gluten content when picking up the food. When getting a second helping I noticed that there were noodles in the rice, I called the restaurant in a panic to get confirmation and he said “oh yea there are noodles in the rice” like it was no big deal. I was violently sick for several days after this.. the employees need to be educated on food allergies and what gluten means when someone asks. Very disappointing. Will not be eating here again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place is absolutely amazing! Their shawarma is REAL unlike these other “Mediterranean” spots. The ambiance inside is amazing from the music to the Egyptian decor. THE best strawberry Dubai cups and yummy cobra carrot drink it’s delicious. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

Cleopatra Mediterranean Grill exceeded my expectations! The service was amazing, and the food was bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor.
