My mom and I are here visiting from Indiana and since it’s Mother’s Day weekend we wanted to have brunch at a very floral and girly place. This place did not disappoint!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant and it’s a perfect place to take your mom, for girls night etc! I think it’s the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our waitress was also amazing, I can’t remember her name sadly. The eggs Benedict was also the best we’ve ever had their hollandaise sauce was phenomenal! I wish we were locals because we would absolutely be back! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recommend parking on the 2nd floor (or 3rd & taking the elevator to the 2nd floor) of the Chemeketa Parkade and then from there you can take the sky bridge to the right straight into our building and to Clink on the second floor! First off we are exited that Chef Jessica is back in action after leaving The Cozy. This place is a must try. Amazing French cuisine that is so full of flavor that you will be planning your next visit while you are still there. First it was my birthday celebration, so they blessed us with a puff bread with honey drizzle and French butter. She called it something else but I forgot. My goodness the flavor on this was spot on. Soft inside and crisp top that gave a wonderful crunch when you bit into it. Then we ordered. Whe we go to places like this we alway order so much so we can try a little of everything we can. As it was a special night we treated ourselves to many items. We got the cheese charcuterie board a fires with a truffle oil sauce I believe. The board was perfect. The flavors oft pickled items matched the flavor of the cheese. We made little sandwiches out of it and it all paired nicely together. Plus I love the little pickles lol. The fries were a little salty, I fee next time we will ask to light salad as thy use a truffle salt. But when you dip it in the sauce it helped cut through it. Next came the rest of the dishes, one after another she loaded our table! And my oh my we were impressed. The timing was perfect on everything. But what stood out the most was the Duck!!! It had the best orange glaze ever and when you eat the orange slice with the duck it explodes with flavor. The most amazing combo I have ever had. The duck was juice and the skin has an amazing sear. All in all our experiences top notch! We will be going here again and I would recommend you give it a try. Also last note, the ladies room is top notch. So big and beautiful. With mirrors with different settings and actual doors to each stall. The decor matched the full aesthetic of the restaurant as well. I chose Clink! for my Day 800 recovery celebration on March 21, and it resulted in one of the Top 5 meals of my 56 year life span. Located on the second floor, it’s a bit of a hidden gem, but clear signage makes the find easy. Once inside, the decor is fascinating, a bold mix of large pink trees, with cozy booths, regular tables, and an upper level that offers some views of Salem. An interesting phone booth when you walk in too. The Dinner: The Duck l'orange was perfection; the first bite was honestly one of the best sensory experiences I’ve ever had with food. The Beet Crudo was much larger than expected, and the crème fraîche had just the right hint of horseradish to make you stop and go, "hmmm." We also had the Escargot, which was excellent. My wife had a salad with chicken that was a bit dry, but since she prefers her meat well-done, it actually worked for her, though for an $8 add-on, I would’ve expected more moisture, if it were me. The Value: We walked away with enough leftovers that I was able to make high-end crepes for two days! Brunch returnvisit: We returned with friends on April 4. I tried the GF Quiche, and while it was good, it didn't come close to the heights of the dinner service. Service both times was good, not exceptional, but the atmosphere and the duck make this a must-visit for a special occasion.
