I gave The Clock another chance this morning, and unfortunately, it will be my last visit. I arrived around 10:00 AM for breakfast. The restaurant was busy, but not unusually so. The host, Steve, confirmed that I was dining alone, and I told him that was correct. Despite arriving first, he immediately seated a party of three that had entered right behind me. While I was still waiting, Steve stopped to have a conversation with a customer sitting at the bar. Another gentleman then walked in, and the customer told Steve that his friend needed a table for one and asked him to "hook him up." Steve promptly seated him as well, even though I had been waiting longer. At that point, the cashier noticed what was happening and reminded Steve that I was next. His response was simply that he would "get to me." From my perspective, it appeared that regular customers received preferential treatment while other guests were left waiting. No customer should feel overlooked simply because they are not a regular. What bothered me most was Steve's complete lack of concern when it was brought to his attention that I had been skipped over multiple times. Rather than correcting the situation or apologizing, he seemed indifferent. After that interaction, I decided to walk out of The Clock yet again without being seated. No customer should have to argue for fair treatment or feel like they are an inconvenience for expecting to be seated in the order they arrived. What makes this even more disappointing is that I was already giving this location a second chance. During my previous visit, two waitresses got into a fight in the middle of the dining room. Our server then walked out, our order was never entered into the system, and after waiting nearly an hour without receiving any food, we finally left. After multiple visits resulting in negative experiences, it appears this restaurant has ongoing employee and management issues. Whether it's staff arguing in front of customers, orders not being processed, employees walking off the job, or guests being skipped over while friends and regulars are seated first, there seems to be a serious lack of leadership, accountability, and customer service. As for Steve, either he needs additional training on how to properly manage a waiting list and treat customers fairly, or he does not fully understand the responsibilities of his position. A host is often the first impression customers have of a restaurant, and unfortunately, the impression he left was that some customers matter more than others. Good restaurants can recover from an occasional mistake, but when similar problems happen on multiple visits, it points to larger operational issues. Unfortunately, after giving The Clock more than one opportunity to earn my business, I have decided this was my final visit. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Gregg we appreciate feedback from all customers after a visit to The Clock. We like to be made aware of instances when our service has fallen short and corrections can be made. The unfortunate interaction you reported has been discussed with the management team on duty. In investigating the issues you related with the staff members involved, your portrayal of the events was found to be less than accurate. Singling out an employee by name is inappropriate and distasteful when that employee has not been provided with the opportunity to publicly respond to your accusations. Your extensive review shared a rather negative attitude about the Clock and we hope you will find happier dining experiences elsewhere.

This restaurant was beyond my expectations. The staff is so friendly. Our server, Judy, kept our drinks and bellies full! The portions were huge and delicious. We can't until we come back again! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been eating at the clock restaurant since 2011. The owners and staff always make me feel like family when I am there. It's like going to your auntie's house for breakfast. The food is wonderful, the people are great, and they let me sit and read my Bible as long as I want to. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
