An important part of a fine dining experience is the wait staff, and the host at this restaurant was very rude. Although we had a reservation, they did not have a table available. Instead of apologizing for the mixup, the host was dismissive and apathetic. He told us to wait in an adjacent room for our table, which he said would be just a few minutes. He refused to let us order drinks from the bar and had us shown to the other room, where we were given water and menus. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we asked how much longer it would be and were told the table was being cleared--which turned out to be a lie. We asked if we could at least order drinks--no one had bothered to ask if we wanted anything. We felt like we had just been dumped into this other room and were being ignored. One top of that, we were hangry! After 45 minutes of waiting and being ignored (we did not even have our drinks yet), our dining experience had become a bad taste, so we took our appetites and our money elsewhere. We will never go back.
