Ven a este bar y come algo si tienes hambre tras disfrutar de Clare Ancient House Museum. Los estupendos sabores de las cocinas británica y española atraen a un buen número de visitantes. Es una estupenda idea pedir un casero pudin de caramelo toffe, una generosa tarta de queso y un bien preparado helado. Su insuperable cerveza de barril, su irresistible cerveza y su excelente vino son el punto clave de este lugar. Aquí puedes tomar un sensacional café.
Por la noche, hay actuaciones de música en directo. Por si todo esto fuera poco, su personal es cortés. Su genial servicio es prueba del alto nivel de calidad de este lugar. Been here a fees time now, staff are great, food is delicious, I love the roasts on a Sunday. Forgot to take photos. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time there, was warmly welcomed at the funky modern bar, ice cold drinks and Sunday lunch ordered, went outside. While we waited, cutlery and napkins brought to t table, wasn't long and the food arrived. Looked great the gravy was as very dark as it was flavourful. Was hot and tasty, I would have liked a tad more pork but that's all. The others had a sharing roast platter for 2 ( half chicken, beef, pork, roast veggies and Yorkshire pud again with the amazing gravy) Recommend it for a Sunday lunch, as for the mid week ment, I'll let you know. Thanks Cock for a great feed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wow. We were lucky enough to book a table at the Cock Inn (now called the Clumsy Cock) for a Sunday lunch over their opening wknd. The new team that have taken over have done a lovely job with their refurb with mixing a countryside pub with a modern & yet almost colonial feel. It really works. The lounge area (my favourite) with leather sofas, benefiting from the logburner in what looks originally to be a large edwardian fire place, makes this area particular welcoming. The food! Amazing, 100 fantastic. We had the roast dinner 3 meat sharer for 2, it was excellent and plenty of veg, meat and roast potatoes and the gravey was perfect. To be fair, we had to turn down the delightful desserts as the sharer filled us up! I particularly enjoyed the Localy brewed Nethergate lager before, during and after lunch!! The new owners along with their kitchen & bar team couldn't do enough for us, We've already booked a table for our return this coming wknd and will be going for the sharer again (and the Nethergate) and most importantly we felt we really got a lot for our money and our bill seemed very fair. Well done to all those at Clumsy... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Vegetarian options: The menu offers many choices for both vegetarians and vegans alike. They seemed to have really considered non meat eaters which is very refreshing. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking: Parking is available directly outside of the pub and on the opposite wide main Rd and along streets next to the church.
