During our honeymoon in Japan, we visited a nearby laundromat to wash our clothes. While waiting, we decided to stop by this restaurant/bar for a beer. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was incredibly friendly. Originally from Thailand, she had a great conversation with us, sharing her story of how she came to Japan. She kindly offered complimentary spring rolls and snacks for free, gave us some wonderful tips, and even surprised us with Thai sweets to take with us when we left.
