I am so pleased to have discovered this brand new gem! I was visiting a nearby attraction and very much needed a boost from some caffeine and a sweet treat to power my long drive home. Gosh did I score! While I was trying to decide between the carrot cake and the chocolate cake, the coffee cake muffin was calling my name. Got the chocolate cake and I kid you not, it was the very best I've ever had! The cake was fresh, moist and fudgey, while the butter cream frosting % broke da mouth! I washed it down with an iced latte which was very high quality with bold espresso flavor. The sandwiches and salads looked extremely gourmet and delicious. But, the best part was the lovely young lady who waited on me. I did not realize that I had entered this cafe a full 10 minutes after it had closed. But, this sweet girl still treated me with patience and kindness and even took time to talk story with me. I can't recommend this establishment enough! Before you go to Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park take a stop at coffee shack farms for a chia tea or tasty latte with oat milk .
