Cozy cafe with seating inside and out on the terrace. The peppermint tea (CLIFTON brand) was excellent. The cakes were good, too. They even have gluten-free options. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free available.

A Gem in the Heart of Cheddar I’ve visited The Hub in Cheddar many times and can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every single visit. The food is consistently excellent, whether it’s one of their delicious breakfast bowls, the fantastic Avocado Affair, or a perfectly made bacon roll. The cakes are always tempting and delicious, and the matcha and coffee are some of the best in the area, with a great choice of milk options to suit everyone. What really makes The Hub special, though, is the people. Lisa, Hannah, and the rest of the team are always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers. They create such a warm and relaxed atmosphere that you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. It’s clear that a lot of love and passion goes into everything they do, from the quality of the food and drinks to the exceptional customer service. Cheddar is lucky to have a place like this, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for great coffee, fantastic food, and a wonderful atmosphere. A well-deserved 5 stars from me.
