Bit expensive for icecream and lollies in a combination you can probably do at home. That being said i do go here semi-regularly so it isnt too bad and id probably love it if it were about 20% cheaper. Better selection of flavours than other cold rocks so it gets a bit higher score since it would be increasingly difficult to do at home as I wouldn't know where on earth to get a cheesecake or donut flavours with actual donuts in it :P

This place is in a pretty good location; conveniently next to IGA, other takeaway shops and cafes/restaurants with a bit of nightlife, all within a bustling parking lot - providing an easy, quick, icy fix.

I was happy of my choice of choc-hazelnut with boysenberry and Ferrero Rocher - but a mix-in for .90c with only one FR piece hastily chopped up, was not really mixed through.
It's been about 3 years since I last went to Cold Rock IC, and very little has changed, the flavours don't feel all that inspiring or somewhat updated, they're very safe, along with mix-ins choices that don't make it any easier for me to decide - because I just don't feel like having them; especially jellybabies, m&m's, or sour snakes - not every customer is a child or likes American sweets.

Think it'd be great to see them step it up a notch - imagine if a froyo place popped up next door all of a sudden; with all their healthy, exciting choices - Cold Rock don't have a fighting chance.

The place relies on that frozen slab a bit too much; just like how I see some suburban ice-creameries relied on liquid nitrogen too much, and without careful deliberation of certain marketing, some of those places failed.

That's my 2 cents...
