Had a party of 6 on a Sunday morning 9am. Staff scoffed that we had a “large party” and we were seated outside even though 3 tables inside were open to seat us. Mind you it wasn’t that busy everyone seated had their food. The waitress checked on us twice our entire visit (to take our order and drop off our order) we waited over an hour for food and 30+ minutes for our check. When our waitress came back out she made a comment “great food but crappy service right?” As a matter a fact YES! Worst experience I’ve had at a college diner and food was mediocre. too bad they don’t take tips because her tip would’ve reflected her nasty attitude, slow service, and rude comments. Unprofessional. We will not be coming back. The old owners need to find someone better. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Boy oh Boy I was here in town to bring a group of high school students to visit Alfred state for a tour, by the time we arrived I was FAMISHED. I googled food near me and The Collegiate was the 1st location to pop up I had already decided what I was gonna order from looking at a menu I saw on Yelp I was so undecided so i ordered The Jack Plate it had a little bit of everything on it 1French Toast 1Pancake 1 strip of bacon 1 sausage 1 large scrambled egg ( Well any way you want it) and Home fries the home fries are the best they were seasoned to perfection and cooked down with onions oh My goodness I couldn’t stop eating them the food was absolutely Delicious…. my Lord, the Carrot Cake!!!!! It was so moist you can taste all the spices that carrot cake is supposed to have and the cream cheese frosting did me in I’m STUFFED I do declare, every town needs a COLLEGIATE with great service, Great Food at fair prices I wish I didn’t live so far so I could try more than just the Breakfast. I live in Rochester 1hr 30min drive. I should’ve taken the picture of the carrot cake before I started eating it but I couldn’t help myself.
