Not a fan. They have a strict dress code requiring shoes and no shorts, which would be fine if the food lived up to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the meal was mediocre at best and not worth the effort. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: Rs 10,000+

Last Friday we visited ColomBar at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel and had an amazing night. The location itself is beautiful, set right by the poolside overlooking the calm waters of Beira Lake. As the evening went on, the cool breeze from the lake made the atmosphere even more relaxing and refreshing. It felt like a perfect escape from the busy city. The ambience at ColomBar is vibrant yet laid-back. The mix of indoor and outdoor seating allows you to either sit back and enjoy the view or move closer to the music and energy of the crowd. The night became even more lively with great live music followed by a DJ set that kept everyone dancing and enjoying the moment. The drinks menu is impressive, especially with their wide selection of arrack and local brews. The cocktails were well balanced and nicely presented. We also tried several bite-sized snacks, which paired really well with the drinks and were perfect for sharing with friends. The event continued until around 1:30 AM, and the energy stayed high the entire time. It was a great place to chill, enjoy good music, have drinks, and spend quality time with friends. Overall, ColomBar offers a fantastic combination of atmosphere, music, drinks, and scenic views. Definitely worth visiting for a fun night out in Colombo.
