Bought tickets months in advance to see Dusty Slay at the Comedy Connection. Showed up for the show and was told at the door, for the first time, that his show was cancelled weeks before. Ruined a date night for me and my wife, as the other comics they had were terrible. The manager claimed that everyone had been sent an email and was refunded. Not true. I had to submit a request several days after the show for a refund, which they finally processed. Don't trust this place. I won't be back. Reply to Comedy Connection response: You didn't email me in advance of the show, and you have no proof to support your claim that you did. The refund didn't "go through the first time" because there was no first time. And there were several other couples who showed up for the late show expecting Dusty Slay and who weren't notified about the cancellation. At least be honest about your mistake and stop lying about it.

Hi Jeff - we're sorry the night didn't go as planned. When Dusty's show was cancelled, every ticket buyer was notified by email and refunded, which is why no one else showed up expecting him that night. Emails do occasionally land in spam or get overlooked, and we understand the frustration of finding out at the door.We did see that your refund didn't go through the first time, and we processed it the same day you let us know. That one was on us and we're glad it's resolved.We've been doing this for 37 years and have over 1,000 five-star reviews, so I think immediately jumping to "don't trust this place" is a bit of a stretch. Sorry about date night, and if you ever change your mind, we'd be happy to have you back.
