Food was lovely, we all had burgers! Great choices of toppings. We sat outside in the sun, the kids were kept entertained by the play park, will definitely be returning soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Family pub, usual pub food which is okay, just okay, nothing special. Staff are doing their best. Thank God for football on big TVs that draw nearby customers. Environment otherwise looks tatty, could do with a little TLC ... and cleaning Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I visited as a one of a group and whilst the food wasn't expensive, it wasn't very good either, probably ok for anyone on a low budget wanting to eat out. There only appeared to be 1 lady front if house, she was friendly and helpful and working the bar and serving food. My one star service rating doesn't reflect on the front of house lady, she was doing all she could. As this was around lunch time, in my view, there should have been an additional member of staff on duty. I don't know how many staff were in the kitchen but I guess it was only 1 given the time from ordering to serving food. The front entrance to the premises looked tired, the lobby carpet is very worn and dirty and clearly well past just being cleaned. Toilets were acceptable. Overall, the experience was not good and for a Greene King establishment I expected better. The Commercial should be high on the list for a refurbishment. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: Reasonable choice of dietary restricted foods and lager available.
