Soda came in 7.5 ounce can and if you needed more you were charged full price again (I asked). Not great hospitality. Sushi was tasty and staff were nice. This soda thing was kind of a big deal though to me just because it feels like a basic restaurant expectation. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Thanks for stopping in and we are so glad that you enjoyed the sushi and our staff! We are sad to see that you docked us two stars for not giving out free sodas. We are two very small business owners (Max Sushi and ourselves) and we didn’t have the space to install a soda gun and the equipment needed for that to be able to give refills. Due to that we sell cans at a reasonable price for a restaurant/bar. I can’t think of anywhere else that gives free cans out. Hopefully you’ll give us another try. Thanks!

Sushi isn't something that comes to mind when I think of breweries in Charleston, BUT Community Crafthouse and Max Sushi is doing it right! Everything was so good! Great beer selection, fantastic sushi! We'll be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+
