I will start with I rarely make posts or reviews but as an out of towner there’s probably a lot of out of town foot traffic. The restaurant came highly recommended for “amazing” Mexican food. We are from out of town and I’d seen the pictures prior to the recommendation, so we decided to try it. We love taco nights as a family. The vibe was pretty cool the kids enjoyed that. Our server was attentive and quick. But as far as the food went it was a sad hard pass for us. I asked if the steak tacos were good and she said yes. So I got a steak and a chicken on corn(which is not on the kind of corn tortillas I was expecting) I had six pieces of steak on the taco which were more like a smoked brisket and not quite tender. So flavor and texture just didn’t hit unfortunately. I ordered rice and to my surprise it was white with cilantro not what I expected either. My husband got three tacos and only ate one. Using bagged shredded cheddar was also different as we’ve never been to a taco place and had such thick cheese on our tacos. The guacamole didn’t really have flavor but I asked for some limes and I took my little chicken that was on my chicken taco and out of the shell and put the rice in my bowl with salt guac and lime. It was better than eating the hard taco shells. But having a bill that was $79 for two people, two sprites we got for the kids(they wanted the corn dog place after we sat) My husband got a beer, three tacos, I got a margarita, two tacos, rice and a queso, was such a bummer because the tacos didn’t deliver on taste/texture and I don’t think we personally would recommend. Everyone is different but I prefer paying for full tacos over atmosphere. The food presented just didn’t look as great as the pictures. We didn’t complain because to be honest we just didn’t think there was a way to make it right due to the many things we were meh about. But atmosphere and service was excellent. If the very small portion on the tacos and flavors were more consistent I’d have no bad review. Also, clarification that corn is hard shells not corn tortillas. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went with ny wife to Condado Tacos on a Friday date night and our server was a delight and very attentive (didn't even have to ask for pop refills just brought them out) but unfortunately that's generally where the positives end. The food - the chips tasted stale and unseasoned. The guacamole was bland even though you could see things like pieces of jalapeño but needed more salt and lime juice. The chorizo queso was overly sweet for some reason and the tacos suffered from the same issue (the mango habenero obviously would be sweet so that was fine) like the chimichurri taco was too sweet. The restaurant had cool decor but the chairs were not comfortable at all for a slightly chunky person let alone with anyone with wide hips. For the price you pay the service meets expectation but for what you pay the food was lacking. Will probably try again to see if anything is better the next time around.
