Una experiencia agradable donde destaca el trato amable y atento del personal, quienes realmente se esmeran en hacer que te sientas bienvenido y cómodo. La comida, aunque aceptable, no sobresale en comparación con el servicio excepcional que brindan. Es un lugar al que volvería por la calidez y dedicación del equipo, más que por los platos en sí. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANT’S RESPONSE: I feel compelled to respond because several statements in the restaurant’s response are simply untrue. First, my reservation was made through a personal connection directly associated with the restaurant staff. I clearly stated that I was dining alone and provided my name. After waiting approximately an hour, I even told the waiter, “You know I’m dining alone tonight, right?” He acknowledged that he knew. The attempt to blame the service failure on me arriving alone is therefore inaccurate. More importantly, the claim that I “went up to our rooftop to smoke” is completely false. I do not smoke. I never went to the rooftop and never left my table to smoke. This did not happen. This was particularly disturbing to read because I have personal reasons for being deeply committed to never smoking due to serious smoking-related illness in my family. To see the restaurant confidently state that I did something I absolutely did not do was genuinely shocking. The restaurant’s description of the bill is also misleading. When I explained that I had been waiting over two hours and wanted to leave, I offered to pay for what I had actually consumed. They initially attempted to have me pay the entire bill, including items I had not consumed. Eventually, I was aggressively told, “It’s covered, you can leave.” I left genuinely shocked. So yes, I ultimately was not charged — but I did not simply accept a complimentary meal. I offered to pay, and they chose to waive the bill. A restaurant can disagree with a customer’s experience. What concerns me is the dishonesty and lack of integrity of this establishment. The false smoking claim, in particular, deeply concerns me. I stand by my original review. —. This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I arrived at Ristorante Consolini, was seated, and from that point forward was essentially completely ignored. I was never greeted once. I never received a simple “welcome to Ristorante Consolini” “What would you like to order” It was one of the most impersonal dining experiences I have ever had. I waited over an hour before anyone acknowledged me. I had to ask multiple times for a menu. After finally receiving it, I waited another 30–40 minutes for someone to come take my order, but no one came. Yet again, I had to flag someone down myself. Every time I politely asked for assistance or followed up, the waiter was extremely rude, dismissive, and arrogant. There was no sense of hospitality, warmth, or even basic courtesy. After finally placing my order, I waited approximately another hour for my food. After more than two hours at the restaurant, I still had not received my meal. I repeatedly followed up and eventually politely explained that I wished to leave. At that point, I was taken into a private office on the side of the restaurant, where I spoke with a woman I presume was the manager or owner. Rather than trying to understand the situation or acknowledge the fact that I had been waiting over two hours for a meal, she diminished my experience and was extremely rude and dismissive toward me. The waiter was arrogant, and the woman who appeared to be the manager/owner was equally unwelcoming. The drinks and small appetizer I received were also extremely disappointing in terms of quality and among the poorest I experienced during my time in Italy. I understand that restaurants can be busy and that delays happen. What I do not understand is how a guest can arrive, be seated, be completely ignored, wait over two hours for a meal, and then be treated so poorly. If you are coming to Rome looking for a cultural experience that includes good food, genuine hospitality, and a kind, helpful, and engaging restaurant experience, this is NOT your place. The lack of service, the quality of what I received, and the extremely rude and arrogant treatment from both the waiter and the manager made this an exceptionally poor experience. I would not recommend Ristorante Consolini to anyone. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

While we initially assumed you had gone there to smoke, the specific reason is not the main point.What matters is that you left your table for a period of time. It is therefore possible that a misunderstanding arose with the waiter, who may not have understood where you had gone.We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. Once we realised our mistake, we tried to make amends by covering your bill. You accepted, of course, but forgot to mention this in your lengthy review.Furthermore, your reservation was for two people, but you arrived alone without informing us of the change, which led to the waiter’s initial mistake.
