This place is now called Bistro de Paris. It has a new  much less expensive menu. It is a nice venue with lots of room, red checkered table cloths and a nice bar. Only 3 stars because it is still finding its footings e.g. no beer on the menu yet!  But it does have wine and spirits. The menu is small but there are some nice selections. We had a Nicoise salad and a salmon sandwich served on a French baguette. Both were pretty good. With a glass of wine and a martini the bill was $43 bucks.

We had reservations here for Valentines Day and for some odd reason, the manager denied that we ever made reservations at all. After looking back and seeing that he was wrong he rudely sat us. I ordered the margarita and it tasted like salt water, which was fine because I know that's a difficult drink to make. Then, I had a medium rare ribeye that was brown the whole way through. Never have I had such a fatty, horrible tasting ribeye in a red wine reduction that tasted like they just poured the wine on top of it. Save your money, the people here are rude and the food was so bad.

Decided to "wing it" and not make a Valentines Day reservation. This was a poor choice and the reason I ended up dining at Continental Flambe. The experience was like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares! Walking into the restaurant was like walking into a nursing home. The decor was drab and out dated. They had a TV in the dining area with the news on which was an instant turn off and really quite strange for such a "fine dining" establishment. They had available seating which made me a bit nervous since everywhere else in the area was booked solid. Despite the strange vibes I still sat down. Surprised I got a table I began assessing the restaurant. News about a trash problem in orlando playing on the TV and a giant bar decanter filled with whole coconuts and brown looking liquor inside. It just looked gross and old. Everyone around was complaining about something. I should have left then. The waitress took the order and promised bread was on the way. I received my Goat cheese salad about 1 hour later and still no bread. The salad and cheese plate were poorly plated but still tasted ok. Quality was that of Publix or even a very low end chain restaurant. I'd give the salad and app a 1.5 out of 5. And still no bread! Finally asked for bread and they brought it out in a basket.  It looked like someone literally grabbed a few baguette slices and threw them into a basket. Sad. As I waited for the main to arrive I watched the man who acted as the manager belittle and yell at all of the servers. It was really quite uncomfortable. They were doing their best and it seemed like they were not trained or set up for success. This man wouldn't lend a hand to any of the servers and refused to even lift a finger. Again patrons all around me were complaining about the food. I knew I was in for a real disaster. The main finally arrived. I ordered the filet with mash and ratatouille. The steak was ordered medium rare. It came out so rare it looked raw all the way through. I mean more rare than Pittsburgh rare!! The server offered to take it back and "watch the grill master grill it until it was done right." So I agreed. She came back approx 7 minutes later with the steak replated and the temperature was the same exact temperature as when it initially went back. Either the grill wasn't on or wasn't working properly because my steak was still very rare. Ugh. I ate anyway. The mash was ok 2 out of 5 and the ratatouille was so salty it was inedible. They ended up giving a free bottle of cheap wine for the table because of the inconveniences but it really didn't make up for the horrible experience and terrible food. This restaurant needs to be featured on Kitchen Nightmares or something similar. It could be GREAT but instead it's HORRIBLE in every way possible.
