My go-to Chinese takeaway in town — I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is always cooked perfectly, the portions are generous, and the waiting times are impressively quick, usually around 10–15 minutes. Just keep in mind that it’s cash only. I’d highly recommend the crispy duck — it’s my favourite dish and it’s always lean and never fatty. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5

I live in England but my Son lives in Elgin with his wife and 1 year old Son, today is their 2nd Wedding Anniversary so going out was a bit difficult and expensive. I know they had ordered food from here before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I messaged The Cook House via Facebook asking if they could help me organise a little surprise for them, I asked if they had any deals on, believe me, they did not disappoint, they went above and beyond expectations, extremely helpful , every message I sent, they got back to me without delay. My Son said the food was hot, very tasty and extremely filling, and I can report that the customer service was excellent and the value for money, fantastic. My Son will order from here again and when I get the chance to visit Elgin, so will I. Thank you to all at The Cook House Chinese Takeaway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
