This was my first experience with Cook Out after hearing a lot about it, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised by the food, even if the service leaves a lot to be desired. At this point, I've tried most of the options that come with the trays, although I haven't gotten around to the milkshakes yet. Everything I've ordered has been cooked well and tasted great. The portions are good, and the variety you can get with a tray makes it a solid value. The service, however, is very hit or miss, although it's usually pretty quick. Ordering through the drive-thru can be genuinely frustrating because it's often extremely difficult to hear the person taking your order. I'm not sure if it's the speaker system or if they're just too far from the microphone, but communication can be a struggle. The staff also tend to be very short with customers and don't usually come across as particularly friendly. Small things like straws, forks, or other items are also frequently forgotten. Overall, the food is usually good enough to make the slight headache of everything else worth it. If the service and drive-thru experience were improved, this would be a much better location. Food was okay, it was hot and fresh, but the burgers were a little undercooked. All meats should be cooked well done. With that said. It was okay. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway
