They should be lucky I gave em 3 stars. I walked in and ordered 2 trays. I got one, and another person took it until they realized it was not theirs. I ordered 2 of the same thing. Now, I ordered this at 940pm. I got my second part at 1050. All the while they were cooking and making orders for others and laughing the entire time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

It's a fast food joint on steroids. You get to pick 1 main such as burger, chicken sandwiches, BBQ, etc and then you pick 2 sides and they call this a tray which pn average cost less than $9 with a huge drink. The food has always been made when ordered, comes out hot and fresh. So far I have liked everything I have ordered from the menu. The employees are great. Did I say you get a sandwich or main and 2 sides and a drink for less than $10. Cookout is my go to if tgere is one around.. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

Cook Out is usually one of my favorite places to stop at whenever I’m in Tennessee, especially because we do not have it back home in Orlando, Florida. I normally go to a different location and usually have a good experience, but this Memphis location was extremely disappointing. I was running late and decided to stop at this branch, and that was a mistake I will not make again. I checked my receipt before leaving to make sure the order looked correct, but unfortunately I trusted that the food itself was made properly. I did not open everything until I got to the airport, and by then it was too late to go back. Multiple items were completely wrong or missing key ingredients. I was charged extra for pickles, cheese, and tomatoes, but they were either missing from the burgers or only added to one item. One burger only had pickles and onions, and the rest of the toppings I paid for were not there. The hush puppies were overcooked and burnt. Both spicy chicken wraps barely had anything in them and were missing the chicken. The chicken quesadilla also had no chicken in it. At that point, the food looked so bad and incomplete that I ended up throwing it away. This was not a small mistake. Almost every part of the order had an issue. Missing meat from chicken wraps and a chicken quesadilla is unacceptable, especially when customers are paying for those items. I understand fast food can get busy, but this order was careless from start to finish. I usually look forward to eating Cook Out when I’m in Tennessee, but this location completely ruined that experience. I would not recommend this branch unless they seriously improve their food preparation, accuracy, and quality control. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
