Two of us ordered the fried chicken sandwich. We both thought it was pretty bad. We spend time trying to decide what spice was in the batter they fried the chicken in. Might have been some variety of chili powder, but it was NOT good, especially deep fried. Neither the Alfredo nor the aioli (I ordered plain aioli, my friend had the spicy ailoi) could be tasted as the batter spice permeated the sandwich. Our other friend had a tri-tip sandwich and said it was OK. The service was low level through no fault of the waitress. She had too many tables for one girl and it was obvious she was doing her best. Wow, what a great choice we made yesterday, stopping in at Cook’d! Recently taking over Napa Sonoma’s old location on South Virginia, Cook’d did not disappoint. We had a late lunch(Ciao Bella - Portabella Mushroom Sandwich & Alfredo Mushroom Burger), and cocktails. Excellent, all!! They’ve made some beautiful updates to the entire place, the patio areas would be our personal favorites!! Terrific service... We’ll definitely be back!!
