Great spot for happy hour. We usually grab a couple glasses of wine and a few appetizers, and everything has always been really good. It does get pretty busy, so don't be surprised if there's a wait, but it's worth it. Good food, good wine, and a fun atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other

The food was good, and our server was genuinely impressive, especially considering what she appeared to have been handed that evening. As first-time guests, we arrived without any particular expectations. The atmosphere was perfectly acceptable, but it felt less like a thoughtfully curated dining experience and more like a polished, mass-produced concept designed to resemble one. Think Cheesecake Factory by way of Disneyland: elaborate, busy, and highly manufactured, but without much sense of intimacy or individuality. The restaurant is loud, crowded, and not especially private, calming, or relaxing. It is probably best suited to a casual family outing or paired with an average movie before or after, rather than an evening intended to feel refined or memorable. The food followed a similar pattern, offering heavily stylized interpretations of familiar classics. Most of it tasted good, although the plating and presentation did not always match the ambition of the menu. Overall, it was not a bad experience, merely a very familiar one. I took my girlfriend Michele to Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Gilbert Arizona for her 60th birthday, and the entire evening was unforgettable. We started with the Shrimp Tempura appetizer, which was light, crispy, and full of flavor. Michele enjoyed a tasting of several Sangria wines, each one better than the last. For dinner, Michele ordered the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak with Drunken Shrimp, and I had the Parmesan‑Crusted Filet Medallions paired with the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. Both dishes were outstanding — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served hot and fresh. Our waiter, Scott, deserves special recognition. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience. His service was exceptional from start to finish. At the end of the meal, he surprised Michele with a delicious chocolate dessert that made her birthday feel even more special. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and two bottles of the Strawberry Rhubarb wine to take home — a perfect ending to a perfect night. Thank you, Cooper’s Hawk, for giving Michele and me a truly memorable birthday celebration. We will absolutely be back for more amazing meals and wonderful wines.
