Copita has been around for a few years now. This summer we tried it for the first time, and loved it so much that we dined there twice. The food is delicious and prepared with much care. The service is attentive and friendly. I liked the wine selection and was happy to be able to order a glass of wine that paired well with my food. The crispy artichoke starter is a dish that is not to be missed. We ordered it on each visit. Amazing deep fried artichokes on top of a flavorful romesco sauce. Even the non-artichoke fans in our party loved them. We could have just made them the entree. I had the halibut for an entree, and it was one of the best fish entrees that I have ever had. The fish was pan seared perfectly, with a beurre blanc sauce and mushroom risotto on the side. My husband ordered the duck and declared that it also was delicious. I think that a lot of thought went into the way this food was planned and cooked. I appreciated that, and look forward to returning next summer.

We traveled 2.5 hrs each way. We had an early reservation so we were the first customer to arrive. The evening started out great. We ordered the most expensive item on the menu which included clams, halibut, scallops and lobster. Our dish arrived and we noticed there was no lobster. We had to ask the bartender who spoke to the kitchen and about ten minutes later our waiter brought us a separate dish of some lobster that we had to add to our dish. Our waiter seemed almost annoyed and the service went down hill. I don't believe he even thanked us or said goodbye. He was busy attending to other friends. We were celebrating our anniversary and we did enjoy the entree once the lobster arrived. The drinks were very good too.
