I would throughly recommend doing the whisky tasting tour ,we got to learn the history of the Copper Rivet Distillery and how the whisky is made,we sampled four whiskys which we rated favourite to least favourite and then made our own blended whisky , which took home in a lovely little 100ml bottle ,i went with my wife ,son and his fiance, my son being the only whisky drinker ,but we all really enjoyed the experience .

Fantastic Saturday afternoon tour. Our Uk and Ukranian hosts were so much fun and enjoyed every minute! Generous measure in the pump room after generous tasters during the tour! Absolute must and a must visit. The gins, whiskies and vodka are all top notch!

Dress warm! Inside the actually distillery it is very cold! The venue area would be perfect for several types of events including weddings. The peak behind the curtain was very interesting. Also, a heads up to those with mobility issues, you stand for the majority of your visit which was about an hour for us. There are no lifts to get to the upper view decks but you wouldn't miss much. I did see ramps but not an expert as to their usefulness. Would recommend as something to do if it's a bad weather day and you like whiskey. It's a easy location to get to via public transportation/driving.
