I went on Friday the 26th of September which they said they were open drive all the way from the state line and they were closed I would appreciate it if they would post this daily if they're going to be open or closed it was a big disappointment to me. although I still love cornbread and Lulu I really wish they would let us know they were closed when it says they're open

I arrived at Cornbread's Kitchen with a friend during posted lunch hours and upon entering the door was immediately ushered back outside into the elements with a short unfriendly statement that you were not open. I asked when you would be open (because I had heard the food was very good) and the answer was "shortly...that you had some issues. After waiting for 30 minutes outside I decided it just wasn't worth it. I 'll never know if your food is as good as I had heard because today was simply an embarrassment for the experience I had expected.

The food is fixed like the cook is making it to sit down and eat with his own family. It is fresh, hot, plentiful and made with thoughtfulness and care. Beautiful, friendly, family owned local business. We drive up from Huntsville and have never been disappointed. Would eat there every day if I could, see y'all soon!
