I would like to file a complaint regarding the poor customer service my friends and I experienced at your Costa Coffee branch. We visited your café to enjoy some coffee, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing because of the behavior of the Filipino crew member who was on duty. While we were looking at the menu and deciding what to order, many of the drinks we wanted, including the matcha and chocolate beverages, were unavailable. Since we had to choose alternatives, we naturally needed a little more time to decide. There were no other customers waiting in line behind us, yet the staff member spoke in Filipino, telling us that we needed to order quickly. We understood what he was saying, and his tone made us feel rushed and unwelcome. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after we finished ordering, he was noticeably more attentive and courteous to the next customer. This difference in treatment made us feel that we were not valued as customers. After receiving our drinks, we sat outside to enjoy them. While we were seated, the same staff member began wiping the floor around us without saying "excuse me" or asking if he could clean the area. This came across as discourteous and made us feel uncomfortable. We believe every customer deserves to be treated with respect, patience, and professionalism, regardless of how long they need to decide on their order. We hope this feedback will be taken seriously and that appropriate coaching will be provided so future customers do not have a similar experience. Thank you for taking the time to read our complaint. We went to this branch around 2 AM, but the guy working there seemed too busy talking to someone who wasn't even a customer. He then told us to hurry up with our order even though we were still deciding what we wanted, which came across as rude and disrespectful. He had no respect at all.
