We decided to book a last min breakfast at Cote over the May bank hol weekend. Understandably it was busy but this didn't seem to affect things at first. There were 6 of us, including two children (1 and 6) unfortunately the food did take a really long time to arrive and when it did there were inaccuracies and forgotten items. The child's breakfast for my 6 year old was meant to come with a veggie sausage however, luckily I spotted that it was in fact a meat one. With the cautiousness surrounding allergies now any errors are concerning. I had made to double check the order for this. One of the adult meals didn't arrive but the side did so by the time the food arrived the side was cold. When we finally got the childs breakfast it was served on a boiling hot plate! This is not common practice for a childrens menu. My child could not eat off of this plate and by this point was so hungry we had to put food on saucers and napkins. It is also worth noting for my 1 year old I ordered scrambled egg and toast which was on the menu. Unfortunately it wasn't stated that the toast would actually be seeded sourdough which just isn't appropriate for my 1 year old. The service and the people were so so lovely however, we were a bit disappointed that our raised concerns and feedback of the meal weren't met with more response. Even just an offer to take the coffees off of the bill would have been a nice gesture. It was a shame because the setting was stunning and all things considered we had a lovely time. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: The veggie sausage was very tasty! But I am shocked my child actually tried it. It looked more like a falafal and tasted great! But I do sometimes think wording is super important because it wasn't a veggie replacement of a "sausage".

Another excellent lunch at Cote Farnham. Delicious food at an affordable price with attentive service from great staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40
