Country Bird – Honest First Visit Review Recently visited the newly opened Country Bird food truck setup, and I really liked the concept! They have two separate trucks — one focused on their signature chicken/wings varieties and another serving Indian-style street food items. The setup inside the complex is neat, vibrant, and definitely catches attention. ️ What We Ordered We tried: * Achari Mango Habanero Wings * Curry Peri Wings * Fries The menu itself is very creative with lots of unique Indian-inspired flavors, which is something different from regular wing places. What We Liked * The overall concept and presentation are really good. * Nice fusion of Indian spices with classic wings. * Friendly setup and a good variety of options for both chicken lovers and street food fans. * Pricing felt reasonable for the quantity. Feedback for Improvement The main reason for my 3-star rating is because both wing flavors we ordered tasted almost identical. We couldn’t really distinguish between the Achari Mango Habanero and Curry Peri flavors. It felt like either the seasoning got mixed up accidentally or the wrong masala may have been used for one of the orders. Also, most of the items we received seemed to be missing enough salt. The fries especially had only the dry seasoning masala without the balance of salt, which made the flavors feel incomplete. Because of that, the food tasted more like plain masala rather than fully seasoned dishes. ️ Environment Totally loved the outdoor seating and the ambience was very good having a separate space for enjoying the food. Final Thoughts This place has a lot of potential, especially since they are newly opened and trying something unique. With a little more attention to flavor consistency and seasoning balance, this could easily become a go-to spot for wings and Indian street food lovers. If the salt levels and flavor differences had been properly balanced, I honestly would have given this place a 5-star review. We had a large order of 40+ wings. They fried all of them fresh and seasoned right before handing it to me. Amazing flavors! Rowdy mirchi was our favorite. The owner threw in some free wings as well. Will need to come back to try other flavors and desserts! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Rowdy Mirchi was our favorite. The owner even threw in some free wings, which was a fantastic surprise. “Watch out, Colonel Sanders you’ve got some competition. I LOVE dry rub wings, and these were next-level. Not soggy but crispy (like ACTUALLY crispy), packed with unique Indian-inspired flavors, and unlike anything else around. You can tell they really care about what they’re putting out. The owner was super cool too. Her name is Ramya and new to the Barton Springs Road area, genuinely friendly, and you can tell she passionate about the place. Pretty sure she told me the spices come from her family farm. It’s still kind of a hidden gem right now, but I’m telling you once people catch on, this place is gonna be absolute fire and probably packed. And then the dessert. I think it was called mango velvet kulfi? Honestly, I don’t even fully know what kulfi is, but I know I want its babies. Wooowwww. I don’t know if it’s technically ice cream or what category it falls under, but it was so ridiculously good it’ll make you wanna slap somebody’s mama (respectfully). Sweet, creamy, cold, mango perfection. I think she needs to start selling hats. I let her pick the different flavors for me to try and I suggest you do the same.
