Food was excellent (sashimi-kingfish, tuna, salmon; Karaage, Ramen). We entered the restaurant at 7pm, and felt very pressured to be done by 8, last orders at 7.30pm. This despite the sign out the front saying they are open until 9pm, 6 days a week and a confusing door sign that read 8.30pm. Perhaps more clear signage is needed?Walking back to our motel, most (if not all restaurants were open and people were still inside, including the barber!) For a Thursday night, I felt the pressure wasn’t necessary. We’re not from here and are passing through, but worth knowing if you’re out and about exploring Shellharbour after 7pm and looking for a nice sit down meal without time pressure, this may not be the spot for you. Place was dirty and service was non existent. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins and bowls for soy sauce. Underage staff where serving alcohol. Was not told while ordering of the 15% surcharge. Food was ok and prices where way to hi for what you get. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thanks for putting in this feedback. Our apologies for your experience, however please understand we had greater than expected influx of customer over the holiday. We have done everything in our capacity to serve customer the best way possible, but sometimes mistakes happen. Regarding liquor serving, our staff has all mandatory training and relevant certificate by laws. Putting up an untrue comment about our operation could be very damaging to our small business. I hope you can consider taking off this comment. Happy to chat if you want to come over.
