Craft Circus Craft Kitchen is a B. For me, it leans closer to a C because the main value is not in the cooking. This large seaside food facility is located on the west coast of Awaji. The sea comes before the food. Pizza, paella, Awaji onions, seafood, burgers and large shareable dishes all belong to the same tourist complex. The food is designed to be easy to choose, easy to photograph and easy to eat with family or a group. It is not a place to experience the culinary expertise of a single chef; it is a place to experience the scale and development of the location. The service is food court style: practical and efficient, but not personal. The atmosphere is the strongest aspect: Harima Nada, right in front of you, gives the meal a wider context. The price includes the scenery, not just the food. I would recommend choosing seafood or onion-based dishes and keeping it light. It is a seaside dining facility where Awaji takes centre stage and the food plays a supporting role. Food: 3

The BBQ portion is too small and the seafood quality is not good, relatively overpriced. The service is not like other places in Awaji as an island-vacation hospitality. Maybe becoz it is owned by a large corporation, I guess. I don’t think I will come back for BBQ set but can try their pizzas.
