We absolutely love eating here!!! Everything is amazing you will not be disappointed no matter what you try! I cant even give a favorite because its all good. The duck is omg!!! The spicy beef is amazing the beef is so tender!! The pho is greatwriting this makes me want to go back for dinner again tonight!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I used to live up here and come here a good amount of times. I always liked the food and loved to shop at the same time. Today was a very negative experience. I need GF items for my intolerance. So I got the miso soup. Most of the items have wheat in them. I got my food, tasted it, and immediately knew it was off. It tasted like strait peanuts were in there. I told them about it and how it didn't taste right. I asked for a refund because I can't eat it. The guy behind the counter said they don't do refunds for not liking something. I get it but something was wrong with it. I walked away and took care of my plate. While I was waiting for my boyfriend to finish his plate I over heard the workers talking about me. Talking about how I was tasting sesame oil and there was nothing wrong with the dish. Makes me sad because I want to come here but if this is how they treat people. I will not be coming back. Mind you this food is expensive! I need to find a new place i tell everyone to go to. This place is not it anymore. So disappointing Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Amanda, sorry to hear your experience here. Did you mention about your Gluten-allergy when you order? We have specifically have a menu that serves vegan, gluten-free, and diary-free foods.

We were in Kalamazoo for a weekend trip and wanted somewhere to stop for shopping and comfort food. After reading the reviews for Pacific Rim Foods and Cravings Deli, we decided to stop in and we're glad we did! Cravings Deli is inside Pacific Rim Foods, so make sure you check on those specific hours not to miss out! The food was delicious! The menu can seem a bit overwhelming, but any place with great banh mi is an instant favorite. Besides the regular menu, there was a small takeout section and seasonal/specials menu. I ended up ordering a special bubble tea, the banh mi and bao buns. Simply place your order at the counter with the cashier and wait for your order to be called. The food was made fresh and came out quickly and hot. The kitchen is open concept, so you can see them making the food, which is fun to watch. The banh mi was fantastic. The bread was soft, but held up to the amount of food and dressing stuffed into it. The meat was tender and easy to eat. I do think the cucumbers could have been julienne style for easy eating, like the carrots. The bao buns were soft and the consistency was perfect. The meat and seasonings were flavorful and so tender. The sautéed vegetables were great and adding to the flavor and filling. The portion sizes were bigger than expected, so there is the option to share or have leftovers. The bubble tea was great too, a little on the sweet side with the syrup I choose. The cups actually have a stopper for the straw opening, so you can take it to go in the car without worry of spilling.
