One star was a gift. Minus five would be about right. Where to start? There were seven of us, four adults, and three kids with reservations. Service was initially ok, but went downhill rapidly. Long wait to order and even longer wait for food. Food was served sequentially and it was a half hour before the last person was served. Several attempts to talk to the manager failed and we were left dealing with arrogant teenagers as staff. After two hours, cold food, crude and. arrogant staff, we got our check. After all the trouble, I was astonished when the was a 20% gratuity added. By this time I was getting increasingly irritated. When I told the youngster acting as cashier/hostess that a gratuity charge was ridiculous and I was not going to pay she threatened to call the police. Still no manager. Paid the overpriced bill and left. If want good service and tasty food this is not your restaurant. We received no apologies, but excuses that there was a large wedding party eating at the same time and the cooks were swamped. In such a situation one would expect the management to be prepared. Alas, lack of staff, lack of trained and mature staff, and GREED are the take-home messages of our trip to Crawdaddays. Never again!

They have excellent food and service. The meal between the four of us was catfish, catfish w/parmesian crust, crawfish, and chicken alfredo w/shrimp. All entree's were excellent. I want to turn the attention to the asparagus. It is a must try asap! Thank you Crawdad's! The band played very well also! A big shout out to Chris, our waiter who took very good care of us. Thank you!
