The man in here is extremely disrespectful and rude. I have visible tattoos and as a tourist asked him if we can use the bathroom. Even offered to buy something and he rudely said ‘not looking like that you can’t’. I thought he was joking but no. He was being serious and told us to leave. I am extremely hurt and disappointed by this. I have a neck tattoo and wearing a very casual outfit. Hoodie and jeans. Do not go here if you look a bit different.

Me and my Husband took a weekend escape up to biggar and whilst we were there we stopped in at the cross keys for a meal. The service was amazing, the staff were all so friendly and easy to talk to. We order the fillet steak (rare) with peppercorn sauce and garlic butter prawns, and it was absolutely fantastic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40
