We visited on a cold day recently and although the open fire in the bar was lit it was just smouldering so no warmth was available and the room temperature was a bit on the cool side for comfort. Beer selection was reasonable and sensibly priced but watch out of the prices of snacks (nuts etc !). Didn't eat this time but might try to when the weather is warmer!

We werer far too cold in this pub and the open fire very smoky as not looked after well enough. Could be good if some heating was found!

overpriced gastro 'pub' with a real ale served, like the room temperature, far too cold. Should be a lovely pub again one day but these days the landlord closes when he likes which can catch you out!
