Santa Rosa Beach needs more authentic restaurants like Crust Artisan Bakery. Every time we have had dinner here the food and service is amazing. It’s authentic and just something very special. Every appetizer we have tried from the goat cheese, to the meatballs, and calamari, to the lamb chops and last night we tried the special Fettuccine with shrimp and lump crab and my husband had the Sunday gravy. Both so good and the seafood is so fresh. The dessert should not be missed either. The Tiramisu and the Lemon mascarpone cake are both so good! Bring your own wine and a must visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A Local's Perspective on Crust Artisan Bakery I've lived and worked along 30A for years, and Crust Artisan Bakery has always been one of those places people would tell me, "You have to go." For whatever reason, I never made it in until recently—and now I'm wondering what took me so long. As someone who has watched Santa Rosa Beach grow and change over the years, I appreciate the places that stay true to what makes this area special. Crust has that feeling. It's warm, welcoming, unpretentious, and filled with locals who clearly know they've found something special. The service was genuinely kind from the moment we sat down. Not rushed. Not scripted. Just the kind of hospitality that reminds you why people love living here. Then came the bread. I don't say this lightly, but it may have been some of the best bread I've ever had. Fresh from the bakery, perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It set the tone for the entire meal. We started with the blue crab, avocado, and grapefruit dish, and it was outstanding. Fresh, light, and beautifully balanced. The crab practically melted in your mouth. For dinner, we ordered the Sunday Gravy pasta, and it was everything you want comfort food to be. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The kind of dish that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. In a world where so many restaurants chase trends, Crust Artisan Bakery feels authentic. It feels established. It feels like a place that knows exactly who it is. As a local, I can honestly say this is one of those Santa Rosa Beach restaurants that deserves every bit of its reputation. Sometimes the places everyone recommends really are that good. Needless to say, we'll be back soon—and next time, I'm finally trying the cannolis. If you've been driving past Crust for years like I have, consider this your sign to stop in. You'll be glad you did. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Y’all don’t come here it’ll get too crowded. But seriously it’s some of the best food you’ll have in Destin. The fish is fresh, the bread is delicious, and the dessert is top notch. Bring your own booze as they specialize in food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
