Nuestra primera visita fue espectacular. El ambiente y la comida excepcional. Nos atendió un joven rubio que estaba dando entrenamiento a una muchacha nueva ( fue hace un par de meses) y debo destacar su excelente servicio al cliente. Una semana después decidimos repetir y no corrimos con la misma suerte. Nos trataron bastante indiferente y sentimos que fue por ser hispanos ( nos atendieron otras personas ). Sin embargo no voy a condenar la calificación por este último hecho desafortunado ya que dada la experiencia considero que fue algo personal y no directamente del establecimiento

There are pizzas you eat, pizzas you enjoy, and then there are pizzas that make you stop mid-conversation, stare down at the plate, and wonder what exactly just happened. The Black Truffle Pizza at Culinary Dropout belongs firmly in that last category. Absolutely. Breathtaking. From the first bite, the truffle announces itself not obnoxiously, not as some gimmick designed to justify a higher price tag, but with that deep, earthy, almost intoxicating aroma that makes truffle such a dangerous thing in the right hands. It settles into the cheese, the crust, every warm, blistered corner of the pizza. And that crust deserves its own conversation: crisp where it needs to be, tender and chewy inside, with just enough char to remind you that somebody in that kitchen understands that great pizza isn’t simply assembled. It’s built. But the real magic is the balance. Truffle can easily overwhelm a dish. Here, it doesn’t. Every ingredient seems to understand its role. Nothing is screaming for attention. Nothing is fighting the truffle. Everything works together, and the result is rich without becoming exhausting, indulgent without becoming ridiculous. You take another bite because you’re trying to figure it out. Then another because you’ve stopped caring about figuring it out. That’s when you know a kitchen got you. Culinary Dropout has plenty of swagger the music, the atmosphere, the slightly rebellious personality but this pizza proves there is serious cooking underneath all of it. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of places, and most of it eventually becomes a memory of “that was pretty good.” This one lingered. The Black Truffle Pizza wasn’t just the best thing on the table. It was the kind of dish that briefly made everything else happening around the table irrelevant. Absolutely phenomenal. If you go to Culinary Dropout and order nothing else, order this. Then guard the last slice with your life. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
