Hi Thomas,Thank you for your review. I do want to clarify what happened, because saying that we "overcharge your card if you're not watching" gives a very different impression from the actual situation.You're a regular customer, and you mentioned that in the past you have sometimes been charged $10 cash for your chicken shawarma. However, the item is clearly listed on our menu at $12.00. A newer staff member simply followed the posted menu price when processing your order.There was no overcharge and certainly no intention to add anything extra to your card.And on a lighter note, we do appreciate the $2 tip you lett - thank you!We just ask that whenleaving a public review, the full situation is represented fairly and accurately.We appreciate your business and hope to see you again.CURBSIDE DOGS Team

I feel like the value here is insane. Loaded poutine for $12 and there are multiple options. Look at the portion size of this poutine! It was hot and fresh and such generous portions of the toppings and chicken as well. Don’t get trapped by the ice cream trucks in the Bluffs parking lot and come here instead. Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $10–20

I recently visited CurbsideDogs with high hopes of enjoying a quick and tasty meal. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired, tarnished by an aspect that should never be tolerated in any establishment: the presence of an unwelcoming and insensitive staff. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, an uncomfortable tension hung in the air. The interactions with the employees were plagued with subtle undertones of bias and insensitivity, leaving me feeling disheartened. It's a shame that such a promising eatery has staff members who fail to uphold the basic principles of inclusivity and respect. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, showcasing the potential for a satisfying meal. However, it was challenging to fully appreciate the flavors as the negative energy surrounding the establishment distracted from the dining experience. It is truly disappointing when the actions of a few cast a shadow over an otherwise pleasant meal. Despite the issues with the staff, I must acknowledge the food itself. The dishes were prepared adequately and presented with a degree of care. The flavors were decent, albeit overshadowed by the overwhelming disappointment of encountering a passive-aggressive atmosphere. While I would like to give CurbsideDogs the benefit of the doubt, I cannot ignore the significant impact that a toxic environment can have on a customer's overall experience. It is my hope that the management takes this review constructively and addresses the glaring issue at hand. The potential for this establishment to provide a remarkable dining experience is undeniably there, but it must be accompanied by a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. In conclusion, my visit to CurbsideDogs left me with mixed emotions. It's disheartening to encounter a fast food establishment with potential, only to be let down by an unfriendly staff. I hope that my experience serves as a catalyst for positive change, encouraging the management to address the issue promptly.
