Excellent dining experience! The food was delicious! We both had aged steaks (30 day ribeye and 30 day NY Steak) and the mashed potatoes were the best we have ever had from anywhere! Our waitress, Vicki and the manager, Michael were both wonderful and a delight to talk to. This was our first time here and we were celebrating our 17 year wedding anniversary and we were delightfully surprised after our meal with a delicious complimentary dessert! Me and my mom were out at around 5 pm and decided we wanted a nice dinner so we chose this place since it was nearby. I walked in wearing a jogging suit and gym shoes (to ask if they had a dress code) and was told yes by a young lady who I assumed was the manager. I said fine I can go home and change and come back. Then I asked if there were any open reservations for the evening and was told no they are all booked. The place wasn't even 1/2 full. So I left and checked on line and there were plenty of open reservation slots. So I reserved a table for 6:45 pm and went and changed and came back. As I approached the restaurant, I see people leaving who probably didn't meet the so called dress code. In fact we were seated next to a guy dressed in gym shoes, shorts and a basketball jersey. I brought this to the manager's attention and she gave a BS explanation. Now I don't care how anybody was dressed, but I do care about being lied to by a manager of what's supposed to be a top notch establishment. It appears as if this was her attempt to limit the number of people (who look like me) inside their restaurant. Even though the food was good, and the waitress was excellent, I probably won't be back. Our bill came to $300 with tip and if I'm going to spend that kind of money I'll take my business to Perry's or some other steak house that appreciates all types of customers.
