We always enjoy coming back to DBar – it has a wonderful atmosphere and a great food! We’ve had the chance to try a variety of other dishes, including pizza, burgers, and drinks, and everything we’ve tasted has been excellent. One of my absolute favorite dishes is the arancini that are crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. My partner, on the other hand, absolutely loves their Sunday roast, which he considers one of the best he’s ever had – perfectly cooked meat, great sides, and rich, satisfying gravy. And if you are a vegeterian don’t hesitate to ask for a veggie option! A big part of the experience is the team behind it all. Freya and Declan both contribute to the overall feel of the place. The service is smooth and friendly, and the kitchen brings a sense of creativity that makes the menu stand out without being overcomplicated. Thank you guys! Overall, DBar is a place we keep coming back to not just for the excellent food, but also for the welcoming atmosphere and the people who make it special…and for the sweets that Freya freshly bakes. DBar at Serenity, Diamond Beach, was such a beautiful experience and a reminder of why supporting local businesses matters so much. The service from Freya was incredibly sweet. She truly goes the extra mile, whether it was bringing out mosquito coils to make dinner more comfortable or the genuine care and kindness she showed our kids. It made such an impression on us. It was also heartwarming to watch Freya and her partner, chef Declan, so tenderly look after the lovely elderly locals who come in for their morning coffee and catch-up. There was something really special about seeing that sense of community. The locals were just as beautiful as the surroundings. You can feel the love and care they pour into every part of the experience, and it shows in the food. The ingredients were so fresh, everything was seasoned perfectly, and the flavours were absolutely delicious. It is such a wonderful café and restaurant to enjoy the ambience of Serenity at Diamond Beach. The ultimate family getaway, only a hop, skip and jump from Sydney. We would be back in a heartbeat. Wow. Lived here for 4 years and so glad we finally got to have lunch here. Amazingly friendly staff. Prompt service and the food was also amazing. The mushroom arancini is a must have and garlic prawns so tasty. Venue really pleasant and dogs welcome. We will certainly be spreading the word and will be back. Thankyou so much to the young and beautiful couple who made our lunchtime so enjoyable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
