Good sushi in the Netherlands. The portion was not big so expect to order more than just a sushi set. Recommended to eat from left to right and left to right for the bluefin sushi! It’s a fusion restaurant so they don’t have a lot of staples in Japanese restaurants like miso soup. Price per person: €40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

If you are someone who loves Japanese or Nikkei food, Dinnerant in Rotterdam is a no-brainer — a must visit. It was such a wonderful surprise and absolutely worth it. We had a beautiful Japanese fusion experience, where every bite felt like an explosion of flavors from around the world, while still keeping the freshness and quality that characterize Japanese cuisine. A special thank you to Chef Yuki and the entire kitchen team, as well as the staff, who were not only welcoming but made us feel like family. They turned our evening into a celebration — a special moment with friends, sharing food, stories, and life. You could truly feel the teamwork and passion behind every dish. We had a birthday dinner here and honestly, this restaurant deserves to be fully booked every single day. Everything we tried was amazing. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the miso tenderloin was perfectly cooked, super tender and juicy. There were four of us, and we all agreed: they serve some of the best fried chicken we’ve ever had (yes, really ). We went on a Friday, and there was a live DJ which made the atmosphere even better, such a fun and vibrant vibe. The drinks were also great, and I personally loved the plum cocktail. The space itself is beautiful and spacious, with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs work their magic, plus a lovely terrace for sunny days. But the biggest highlight? The team. Everyone was genuinely friendly, happy, and delivered top-notch hospitality. It really made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend for a fun night out or a special occasion!
