DJ's International Buffet. Bar & Grill 1100 Stewart Ave, Garden City, NY 11530 (516) 227-2472 Last night I ate a piece of beef jerky after having dinner at 7pm. I knew I can't eat before going there. I mean nothing but water. Even that not too much water. We to leave at 11:45am I told hubby we're out the door at 11am. They open at 10am. Thank for our servers, Jimmy(Sushi) & Sandy(Mgr) for an amazing experience. OMG OMG OMG. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Yummmmmmy. As you walk in there's a water fountain wishing ponds. The place was clean, not overwhelmed by smell of all the items on the buffet. The great thing is that the food is away for customers. This way there's a separation. This is an extremely large space. The great thing is is that they have 4-5 eating areas so you don't feel like you're in a cafeteria or lunch room in high school. Definitely a place for events of all kinds for the have a bar. So liquor plus food that's a great time for me. . Staff I saw were constantly cleaning. Tables, seat, buffet area even picking up dropped items of the floor. The servers come to clear empty plates. I show a staff member actually on some device talking to the staff members to refill the dishes. A well operated system they have here. Everything was fresh and delicious. So so many items to pick from. Whoever you bring here no matter how picky they are enjoy would love their selection. It accommodates everyone. That's what I saw from the variety of dishes presented. Way too many items to take individual picks so I took a few pics and videos but forgot to take some of the soup area. Btw hubby eat only 2 plates. The plate in front of him and the dessert. I ate the rest. After the serves took our drink order I went ahead and did my rounds. 6-7 plates in total for lunch. This way I can seat back and enjoy. I took a little of everything I liked. No fried rice, noddles, fruits or soup for me. I come here for protein. There's just even rice on the sushi for me. I will definitely 1000% be back. Every was friendly, smiles and pleasant. $35 for 2 for lunch. So I tipped Jimmy(Sushi guy) $5 and Server $5. Plus I bought a souvenirs (pink elephant rhinestone keychain). Jimmy was funny and pleasant. He loved my outfit especially my LED light sneakers so of course I tipped him $5. Plus he hand rolled the sushi as guests got their food. Time to go home. Change to my nap and definitely a nap.
