Enjoyed the food here! We came before opening and there was already a queue, but managed to get a table for 4 and food was served quickly upon ordering. Great service too - the waitress frequently comes by to top up our water. Double fries: /5 Flavourful, nice and crispy! Loved the blend of unique flavours with the cheese and sauce Onion Fried Chicken: .5/5 Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Liked that it wasn’t oily too. There was a subtle unique aftertaste which was nice, but in my opinion not enough seasoning and wouldve liked it more salty. But overall, loved it and could eat it again and again. Beef Ragu pasta: /5 Delicious! The pasta wasnt as al dente as expected, but not bad overall. Would get it again. Salmon Pesto Pasta: .5/5 Decent as well, generally wouldnt eat any fish pasta but found myself liking the pesto creamy flavour. Parma Ham Pineapple Pizza: .5/5 Nothing too special about the pizza, but was flavourful. The parma ham wasnt really parma ham and there was too little of it, the pineapple chunks were also kind of messily distributed so not each slice has pineapple or ham. Would’ve liked if there was some veggies like typically rockets on the pizza too. Overall, enjoyed the dining experience here and would come back! beneath the iconic neon sign, double single has been on my to-go list for a long while now. finally, on a weekday afternoon, i was able to get a seat with my friend. (they don’t allow reservations.) the menu was very nicely put together, making all the options seem equally appealing and the ordering process ever so indecisive. finally, we settled on the bolognese pasta and a smoothie (in hopes of getting their cute signature red cups). the pasta was amazing, perfectly al dente, and served with seasoned meat sauce that was just right. the smoothie was more for aesthetic value, though it did help one cool down on a hot summer day. finally, i came to learn the hard lesson that the signature red cups were NOT free to be taken with you upon leaving. still, double single earned their 10/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
